Terms of Service

These terms govern your use of Terminal One ("the app"), published by Token Dev Co ("we", "us"). By downloading or using the app, you agree to them.

The app

Terminal One is a desktop application that combines a terminal, Git tooling and a file editor. The core app is free to download and use. It runs on your machine and works with the software you already have installed, including Git and any command-line AI agents.

Pro subscription

• Pro is an optional paid plan that unlocks additional features such as unlimited agent panes, agent notifications and run history.
• Pro is billed monthly through Stripe at US$8/month. The exact amount and currency are confirmed at checkout before you pay.
• The subscription renews automatically each month until you cancel. By subscribing you authorise us to charge the recurring fee to your payment method until the subscription ends.
• If a renewal payment fails, we may retry it; if it keeps failing, Pro access is suspended and your account returns to the free plan.
• We may change Pro pricing or features with reasonable notice for upcoming billing periods.

Cancellation and refunds

• You can cancel at any time from the in-app "Manage subscription" link (the Stripe customer portal). Cancellation stops the next renewal — your Pro access continues until the end of the billing period you already paid for, and is not prorated.
• 7-day right of withdrawal. If you are a consumer, you may request a full refund within 7 days of your first purchase, in line with Art. 49 of the Brazilian Consumer Defense Code (and equivalent consumer-protection laws). Just email us.
• Outside that window, payments for periods already started are non-refundable, except where a refund is required by applicable law.

Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• reverse engineer, resell or redistribute the app except as permitted by law;
• circumvent licensing or access Pro features without an active subscription;
• use the app to break the law or infringe others' rights.

You are responsible for everything you run inside the app — including commands, scripts and AI agents — and for complying with the terms of any third-party tools and services you use through it.

Your content

Your code, files and data are yours. We claim no ownership over anything you create or open in the app, and — as described in our Privacy Policy — it stays on your machine.

Third-party services

The app integrates with services we don't control, such as Git hosts and AI providers. Your use of those is subject to their own terms. We aren't responsible for third-party services.

No warranty

The app is provided "as is", without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee it will be uninterrupted, error-free or fit for a particular purpose.

Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Token Dev Co is not liable for any indirect, incidental or consequential damages, or for loss of data or profits, arising from your use of the app.

Changes

We may update these terms as the product evolves. Continued use after changes take effect means you accept the updated terms.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of Brazil. Any disputes will be handled by the courts of the seller's domicile, without prejudice to mandatory consumer-protection rights you have where you live.
